Over the very short time of being a political blogger, I have come across some very interesting political blogs, which I dare say might just rival mine! No, honestly these blogs are better than mine, and l learned a lot browsing them. Any well informed citizen should read these. I think everyone should know what the politicians in their country are doing, and these blogs help you out in that area. The basics of a blog is to keep an eye on the topic that the blogger themselves cover. Reading these top five will inform you and make you a better educated citizen. Remember what Thomas Jefferson said “"I know no safe depositary of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education.”
Politico- That’s enough said right there.
Renegade Post- One of the most interesting international affairs blogs, they post now and again. So if you like a take on modern culture, it’s you place.
Human rights investigation is no holds bar, a put it out there cite. It warns its readers about the graphic content in Syria, a bloody political civil war. It dives deep to find the truth.
A conservative alternative to a more liberal media, it provides a few good points. I’m not saying believe everything because it is right of center, but for the well informed it allows regular people to take a more conservative look at the news.
The blog is very interesting as it keeps you up to date on foreign affairs in the Middle East. The next time a Foreign Policy Debate is held , you might actually understand the candidates Middle Eastern Foreign Policy, and the threats to this country.
