            I started  this blog as a way to explain what the word moderate means. I consider myself a moderate in nearly everything. Now most people view moderates as people that don’t have positions on issues. People view them as weak and not great leaders.  I want to show my audience why that stereotypes is wrong. I want to show that true leadership and the ability to problem solve can’t be solved by people that are unwilling to compromise. You can be a great leader and when you do that, it’s ok to give in order to get.    
            I believe in the idea that your background  shapes who you are . Frankly, I’ve had a better up  bringing  than most. I was raised by two loving elderly parents who taught me a lot.  The lesson that was the  most important growing up was tolerance. Tolerance of people different than you, people you did not agree with and tolerance of people who you did not like.  I grew up in a very divided town. There are many issues that people argue over in my community. I learned that if you listen to both sides of the argument you can make a more informed choice on the issues. It’s a better way of doing business than just sitting there and hearing one side of the conflict . My goal is to show that it’s better to reserve your opinions and make your own decision.  Its your life you might want to live it .
